Yamaha Japan has recently announced three new electric bicycle (e-bike) models for Japanese sales: the PAS Lithium S, the PAS CITY-S, and the PAS CITY-F.

All three bikes have the same price tag of $1,200 (base) and are roughly the same bicycle with separate options for different riding styles and situations. All three have lithium-ion (li-ion) batteries at 25.5v/4aH and all offer similar operating ranges (21km motor-only, 67km assist).

Differences between the models include tire type, frame size, basket/cargo configurations, etc. All three models have standard reflectors and safety lights and regenerative braking as well as hand brakes.
